Magnolia-Licious Challenge DT - Photo Inspiration Challenge

Woohoo!!  It is time for another fabulous photo inspiration challenge at Magnoli-Licious Challenge and this fortnight we have this gorgeous photo to inspire us!

Mmmmmmm!!!  Yummy cupcakes!!  I knew exactly what I wanted to create when I saw this photo - one of my cucpake gift boxes - it's been a while since I last made one and they're so much fun!  I have also had both the regular and mini size Love Muffin stamps on my desk waiting to be inked for quite some time now so I made a matching card too.
I stamped the regular size Love Muffin (which unfortunately is out of stock at Magnolia-Licious at the moment but if you want it I'm sure Diana will be able to help if you email her!) and then masked it to stamp the Mini Love Muffin #412 several times to create a whole display of cupcakes!  They are coloured with copics and I've added glossy accents to the chocolate hearts on top.
The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps and I've added glossy accents over the entire sentiment too.  The leaves were cut with a doohickey die and I also added flowers and ruffle trim.
Around the edges of the image I've used part of the dream tag doohickey to create the lace edges.
I've decorated the inside of my card with matching papers and a single mini love muffin.
Still with me??  Let's have a look at the cupcake which I've tried to create to match the love muffin image as close as possible with scrummy looking layers of ruffled ribbon, flowers and paint.
I added a tag using the doohickey tag die and added another mini love muffin to this too!
I've dribbled thick paint onto the top of the muffin to look like frosting and added some brown buttons for chocolate drops.
The top of the muffin lifts up so that you can place a small gift inside.
I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us this fortnight at Magnolia-Licious Challenge!  Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's stunning creations!  Thanks for looking! x
