Magnolia Down Under Challenge DT - Easter Greetings

Good evening!  I hope you're having a lovely weekend.  It is time for another Magnolia Down Under Challenge and this week our theme is Easter Greetings.  I'm so excited to show you my card, I really love how it turned out!  It's funny because we don't really give out Easter cards and so when I saw I had several DT challenges calling for Easter cards I was a little stumped on what to create and then suddenly I made two cards that I love in one evening!  I think sometimes a challenge that we're not keen on really kick starts the mojo!  I love this so much I think I will keep it to display on my mantlepiece every Easter!  I have used Magnolia papers for the Easter eggs behind the image.

I've coloured Tilda hiding easter egg #297 with copics and added stickles to the easter egg.  You can probably tell I am trying to emulate the amazing Chris Dark's stunning background scenes on this card!  Whilst I don't think I will ever reach Chris' level I certainly enjoyed myself creating this little background.  I just felt Tilda needed to be hiding (or maybe finding) her sparkly egg in a beautiful spring meadow.  I have used copics for the background and then acrylic paint for the daisies and buttercups.

I added a spray of gorgeous spring flowers from The Ribbon Girl and a cute border of bunny rabbits using a Martha Stewart punch.

The Happy Easter sentiment is from hAnglar & sTanglar stamped with victorian velvet distress ink and the cute little bow is from my gorgeous friend Louise.

More spring flowers on the right hand side and I have added some punched leaves and the doohickey fence #12.
