The Sketchy Challenges DT - Cordine's Sketch

Good morning!!  I hope you have a lovely weekend planned!  Maybe you have some spare time and can join us over at The Sketchy Challenges - we have the most gorgeous sketch this fortnight courtesy of Cordine!  As soon as I saw it I had lots of scrapbook ideas running through my head and knew exactly which photo I wanted to scrap!  As so often seems the case I ended up going in a completely different direction to what I first thought but I'm so pleased with this layout - it is by far my most favourite one to date!!  I am entering it into the Webster's Pages April challenge too which is Ribbons and Trims.  I have combined their gorgeous Girl Land and Park Drive papers on this page.
The gorgeous tropical looking flower is by Prima and was just perfect for this photo taken on our holiday last year.  The blue blossom flower is from The Ribbon Girl and so is the gorgeous lace.

I added stickles to the fountain printed on the Webster's Pages Park Drive paper so that it sparkles like a real fountain.
The lettering is from Webster's Pages too and the butterflies were punched with a Martha Stewart punch.
I cut lots of pennants from various Webster's Pages papers and also some of the lace and some blue gingham ribbon from  The Ribbon Girl, using the Magnolia doohickey die.  I wasn't sure if it would cut the lace and ribbon well but it worked perfectly!!  I added a cute bow from button twine and the pennants are also thread onto the twine which again is from The Ribbon Girl.  You may have noticed if you follow my blog that this white button twine is my favourite!  I'm using it a lot lately.
The stunning peach chrysanthemum is actually from the Magnolia store in Sweden and was a gift from my lovely friend Louise.  I have glued the twine to the paper so that it appears to twirl randomly down from where it is attached to the page.
Above you can see a close up of some of the pennnats - I just love the pretty colours and combination of patterns.
To the right of the photo I have used another flower from Prima along with another blossom and chrysanthemum.
I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us this fortnight at The Sketchy Challenges!  Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's gorgeous creations!  Thanks for looking! x
