Prima June BAP

Good morning!  I'm excited to share my layout for this month's Prima BAP today!  I was a little apprehensive when I saw the sketch but am so pleased how it turned out!  These two photos are among my all time favourite photos of my children!  The top photo was how I had actually staged my little photo session after seeing something similar.  The bottom one is one of those priceless photos where you capture something spontaneous happening perfectly with no blurring from the sudden movements :) - I love it when that happens!  I love how funny my little boy is finding it that his baby sister has just grabbed hold of his hair lol and I love that in the top photo you can tell she is about to do so from the cheeky look on her face!  From being very, very young my little girl has been full of fun like this!  OK, enough gushing about my children lol, let's get down to some details!
I'm sure I've said before but I am so in love with Ingvild Bolme's work and she recently posted a tutorial on creating a background.  I didn't have all of the right equipment but I tried to do something similar with the things that I had and it actually turned out really great!
As well as Ingvild's technique I have stamped the Magnolia Chicken Wire stamp using Bundled Sage distress ink.
At the bottom of the page I have added a piece of pretty daisy lace which I actually recycled from one of her baby dresses :).  On top of the lace I added some gems.
The gorgeous pebble was a gift from my friend Chelsea and I have also added a scattering of gems around it.  All of the gorgeous flowers are from Prima and so is the butterfly.
The stunning doilies I have used as the circle elements of the sketch were a gift from another wonderful friend, Debbie!  Again all of the flowers are from Prima and I have also used a Prima e-line flower to make the butterfly.
I have added cheesecloth from The Ribbon Girl here and there, peeping out from under photos, doilies and flowers.
The gorgeous "love" charm is by Pink Paislee, and I have added lots of Prima hydrangeas underneath the photos to peep out from the edge along with some more scraps of cheesecloth to soften the look.
I added some glittered stamens to the centre of some of the Prima flowers and also stickles to the stems here and there for an extra pretty touch.
I have used white fluid chalk here and there around the edges of the photos to soften them into the layout and also on some of the flowers to tone them down.
In the bottom left corner I have added another sprinkling of gems.
I hope you like it and thanks for looking!  Have a great day! x
