Magnolia-licious Holiday Blog Hop 2013

Woohoo!!  Welcome to our Magnolia-licious Holiday Blog Hop!!  If you've arrived here from the amazing Janiel's blog then you're on the right track.  If not, and you want to start the hop at the beginning, then pop over to the Magnolia-licious Challenge blog for more details.  There are three prizes and two ways to win!  Here are the details:

1 - Gather the letters and clues on each blog to unscramble the phrase.  Email the finished phrase to the        email address listed on the Challenge Blog.  (Please do not leave a comment with the phrase answer in      it).   One winner will randomly be chosen from those that get it CORRECT to win a Surprise Gift              Package (value $50) from Magnolia-licious.

2 - For the month of December (deadline runs through to the 31st) you can enter a HOLIDAY/WINTER        themed project at the Challenge Blog in the InLinkz provided.  First Place winner (chosen by Diana)          will win a Surprise Gift Pack (value $100) & a Runner Up winner will be chosen randomly from those        entries for a Surprise Gift (value $50) from Magnolia-licious.

How amazing are those prizes!?!?!  OK, onto my project.  I have altered a jam jar into a Christmas lantern.  I created the lantern sides and criss cross pattern with strips of white cardstock.  I then created a base using the same cardstock.
I have used the gorgeous Peaceful Tilda and coloured her with copics.  I've added dots with a white gel pen to her cheeks and eyes.
I have added a handle with brads so that it can be moved out of the way to place a candle inside the lantern and then concealed the jam jar rim with some lace.
Here I have placed a battery operated faux candle inside - it looks very pretty in the dark!  Here's the letters you're looking for...

I hope you like my project and I've inspired you to use your Magnolia Stamps in a different way this Christmas.  Now it is time to hop on over to my talented friend Chrissy's blog!  Thanks for looking and happy hopping! x
