Magnolia-licious DT - Fancy Folds

Good morning!  Hooray!  It's December at last!  Finally time for the advent calendar to come out.  We have one with drawers that I made when I first started crafting and I just love secretly filling it with sweets and messages to go on hunts around the house for little gifts!  My youngest child still actually thinks that it is filled by magic!  This is the Christmas card I've made for her this year.  Over on the Magnolia-licious Challenge blog we're using fancy folds this month.  This was the perfect opportunity for me to try a fold I saw a few weeks ago that made my jaw drop!
I used this utterly adorable Tilda that  my little girl chose from my collection of stamps.  She doesn't know she's chosen the image for her own card lol.  We were painting together as I am showing her how to paint stamps like I do!  I have painted her with Distress Inks and added stickles to her wings and the wrapping paper on the gift.  I have stamped around the image mat with some snowflakes from Magnolia, Diana has some similar ones in stock!
All of the embellishments are from The Ribbon Girl.  I have also used a post mark stamp from Stempelglede on the image mat.
The beautiful pearl string loops are from my stash.  I have added stickles to the flowers here and there for a frosted look.
The diamante snowflake is incredibly sparkly!  It is from The Ribbon Girl too!
The gorgeous ruffle ribbon and cheesecloth underneath the image mat are also from The Ribbon Girl.
Now for the inside and my fancy fold!  The tutorial for this incredible fold can be found here.  I am already in the process of making another one for my Son's Christmas card as I know they'll both love how it pops out at you when you open the card!
I have used the Magnolia Let it Snow sentiment stamp on the top part of the card as my little girl loves snow so much!  I have also stamped snowflakes from Magnolia all the way around the edges of the papers everywhere on the card.  I love how this instantly makes any paper Christmas paper!
On the bottom part of the card I've used another Magnolia sentiment.
I've used mini Magnolia stamps for all of the inside images and then drawn a snow scene around them.  Diana has lots of these cute minis in stock!
Again, all of these images are painted with Distress Inks.
I have added stickles to the snow lines and other areas like the snowballs in this one.
I recently invested in some 00 and 000 brushes for watercolouring so my painting of these minis was much easier!
Here are a few photos showing how the card folds out from different angles so you can see it.

I think it is such a cool fold!
This is how the card looks folded up.
I hope you like it and thanks for looking!  Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's fancy folds.

As always, Diana is sponsoring the challenge with a fabulous prize from the Magnolia-licious store.  If you enter you might win yourself an early Christmas present!

That is a cool fold, I love it. Your colors are gorgeous too, those minis look awesome. I have a hard time painting them as they are so tiny.
