Good morning! I have another card to share today that I made for my son's birthday. We're big Star Wars fans in our house and this year's birthday cake for him was BB8 so I made a card to match.
After cutting out circles from white, orange and silver cardstock I cut out various shapes from them to create all of the markings on BB8. The black details were drawn on with a fine tipped pen.
BB8's head is a half circle with details either glued on or drawn. BB8's large sensor/lens/eye is a large flat backed pearl that I coloured black with a permanent marker. The small one is a black brad.
The sentiment is a Tim Holtz stamp and the little stars are off cuts from a Doohickey die.
I drew markings similar to BB8's onto the sentiment circle and the numbers are Webster's Pages stickers.
When you open the card there are matching elements creating a space for writing.
I hope you like it and thanks for looking! x
