Door Hanger

I knew I had to make one of these after seeing the gorgeous creations on various people's blogs for the Sugar Sugar challenge but wanted to use my new Butterfly Tilda stamp as it is for my daughter's bedroom and she just IS Tilda LOL (her hair curls round her ears just like Tilda's in this stamp). I went mad with the butterfly theme because I just love butterflies, in real life and stamps. I love how it has turned out and it is already looking gorgeous on her bedroom door. I now have an order from my son for one for his room but am waiting for my Whiff of Joy Warrior Charlie stamp to come, he loves playing with his toy knights and castle so this will be perfect for him. Unfortunately couldn't enter this into the challenge obviously with my choice of stamp but thank you SO much for the inspiration because I really enjoyed making this and it looks great! You must pop over to Sugar Sugar to see the DT's door hangers they're brilliant! x

I cut up some Papermania felt ribbon that is actually heart shaped with swirls in to just make swirls as I wanted it to look like a vine of some sort curling round the hole. (mainly to cover my bad cutting the hole with scissors LOL which was not easy to do!)

and here it is in situe!!

Images: Tilda as Butterfly and Butterflies from Magnolia coloured with copics

Paper: Papermania

Flowers: Prima

Felt Ribbon swirls: Papermania

Ribbon and brads: from stash
