Mmmmmm Hot Chocolate - 1 card, 4 challenges!!!

Wow, this is a first for me I'm sure, I have made this card to fit four challenges...woohoo!!! I have used the gorgeous sketch by Claudia for Friday Sketcher's challenge, the theme at Quixotic challenge and Simon Says Stamp challenge is hot chocolate, and the theme over at Mo's Digital pencil is birthdays! As you can tell I finally got the new printer working and couldn't resist colouring a digi image! The papers are a mixture of Papermania (spotty one) and Kaisercraft (swirly one which I now have no more of boo hoo).

Mmmmm how scrummy does this hot chocolate with cream and scone look??? very, I soooo wanted a cookie or something while I was colouring this LOL! I know technically it is supposed to be a latte or some such but I've coloured it to be hot chocolate to fit the challenges. I've coloured the image with copics and sponged the edges of the circle with vintage photo distress ink.

I hate men's card for embellishments don't you? I was sat looking through my not so large collection of buttons and gems and all I really had that would go with the colours was a poor little brown button and was getting really stressed LOL, then I remembered a couple of male cards I've seen this week with little newspaper rolls on and thought that would be a perfect idea to use - relaxing with a paper, drink and scone! I tied some jute string around the paper roll and threaded it through the button before attaching to the card. I have added 3 fern leaves punched with one of my new Christmas toys, a McGill fern punch, the leaves seem more manly than my Woodware punch LOL.

The sentiment I have hand written with a gold gel pen. I added four pearls to the corners from my stash which I coloured with a brown copic so that they matched the papers.

Hope you like it and thanks for looking! x
