Whiff of Joy DT - Happy Mail and Candy!!!

Gosh, I'm a bit late with this post but we got a new printer yesterday, wireless, it printed two images for me and has stopped working :( so all morning I've been fiddling and pulling my hair out....don't you just love computing! It still isn't working but I'm going to throw it out of the french doors if I do anything else with it so best leave it LOL! Anyway, onto my card. I'm really pleased with this one. The whole card was made to match the flowers which I decided to try and make from old book pages. I love how they've turned out and will be having another go at them I'm sure! The paper is from Basic Grey and I have stamped a Stempelglede grunge flourish in the left corner three times with vintage photo distress ink.

Charlotte is coloured with copics and the image is edged with vintage photo distress ink. The thought bubbles are punched with my Crop a Dile using black and white card and the two different hole sizes. I stamped and coloured just part of Charlie Postman so that I could pop him in Charlotte's thought bubble....ahhh. She's dreaming of her beau while writing a love letter you see LOL!

The crystal swirl I fashioned myself using different sizes of gems as I love these swirls but can't seem to find ones containing just crystals for the life of me!

The sentiment has been stamped with vintage photo distress ink and comes with the Charlotte riding Pidgeon stamp from the Whiff of Joy Happy Mail collection. The lace is from my stash.

Here's a close up of my flowers. I made the large rose with several punched out flowers with large and medium EK success retro flower punches. The smaller ones are just the medium punch, one has a rose from Wild Orchid crafts in the centre and the other is filled with some gorgeous little beads from my stash. The rose bud at the top is made with just one medium flower. The branches have been punched from black cardstock with my MS twig punch.

Hope you like it!

Now, onto my candy! yummy!!!! Katharina has very generously provided me with a stamp from this new Happy Mail collection to give away to one of you! It is the Charlotte riding Pidgeon stamp (you get 5 sentiments with this!!) shown below and on the card I made last week shown below. (It hasn't been used, just the candy stamps are sent out without packaging).
