Magnolia Down Under Challenge - Shaped cards

It's time for another challenge at Magnolia Down Under Challenges! This week we would like to see shaped cards - ie: anything but square!! Yup, my imagination went into overdrive again this week LOL. I was looking through my stamps deciding which Tilda I was going to use when I saw the scrummy strawberry one and I was off LOL!!

I made the bowl shape with oval nesties and inked the edges of the paper with walnut stain distress ink. I have stamped, coloured and cut out the strawberries 8 times!! They are coloured with copics. I then layered 7 of them into the bowl carefully hiding the jagged bit of each one where I cut those bottom leaves off. The other strawberry I cut out with all of it's accompanying leaves and flowers to sit outside the bowl.

My original idea was for a bowl of strawberries with Tilda with Wooden spoon and then while I was colouring I had the idea to make a jug of cream to go with the strawberries. I cut the jug from acetate and stuck some cream card to the back. The ribbon tied to the handle is from East of India.

I've just got to show a close up of the strawberries, they look good enough to eat don't you think LOL?? Not long now and it will be time for strawberry picking in the UK - yum!!

I haven't coloured Tilda with my copics for months now but seeing as I'd coloured the strawberries with them to get the rich colours I coloured Tilda in with them too.

LOL couldn't resist a fun shot with some fabric strawberries from my daughter's picnic set!!

and the good old angled shot to finish!!! Hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us this week at Magnolia Down Under challenge! Can't wait to see all your shaped cards! Pop over to the challenge blog for some more inspiration from the rest of the DT's stunning creations!!! - I have to say everyone has really pulled out all the stops this week - you really must see them all!!! Thanks for looking! x
