Wow!! I cannot believe it is May already!!! Wish the weather here realised it was May though, I'm still wearing jumpers!! It is time for another one of Chelsea's gorgeous sketches at Crafting Life's Pieces Challenge and this month I decided to create a layout with the sketch. The papers are by Webster's Pages as is the gorgeous aqua lace, Broderie Anglaise and pink lace.
All of these stunning flowers are from The Ribbon Girl except the aqua tulips which are from Magnolia. As soon as I saw the new flowers Mary and Andrea have in I knew they would be perfect for scrapbook pages!! This dusky mauve coloured set are so beautiful!
The gorgeous cream lace along the bottom of my lace panel and the seam binding for the bow and the rose pearl trim on the edge of the photo are also from The Ribbon Girl, the lace is new in too. The "Sweet" zipper is from Prima.
The butterfly was punched with a Martha Stewart Punch.
The large die cut butterfly was a gift from my lovely friend Debbie and the crystal flourish is from The Ribbon Girl too!
The cute little bird is from Webster's Pages, however it was orange, which just didn't match at all so I covered it in some pink pearl paint, followed by some white acrylic paint, followed by some white liquid pearls.
I have used a small pink zip from The Ribbon Girl inside the torn area in the top left corner of the layout and also some ivory pearl string and flower cabachon. The butterfly cameo is from my stash and I've painted it to tie in with the colours of the layout.
I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us at Crafting Life's Pieces Challenge! Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's stunning creations! Thanks for looking! x
