Minion Birthday Card

 Good morning!  I have a fun card to share today that I made for my daughter to give her friend.  She was looking at a Minion birthday card when we went shopping and I decided I could do much better myself, and so, here it is!  This particular Minion is Steve.

 It was difficult to get a shot of the eye detail but I think you can just about see that I have drawn on the iris and pupil.

 Steve has a happy birthday tag in his pocket.  The happy birthday is a Magnolia stamp.

 I drew the emblem onto the pocket by hand and added black half pearls to represent the buttons.

I thought it would be fun to make the back of the card too!

 You can see from this side view photo that Steve's eye goggle is 3D.  I embossed the whole thing with silver embossing powder.

 I coloured some button twine black for Steve's hair strands.
